A classic 18th century Meissen rose motifs gives this bone china coffee can and saucer a degree of high sophistication and elegance. The design is carried across the can (cup), both inside and out and also across the saucer and lips underneath.
Coffee Can is an 18th century description of a sometimes tall cup without a saucer… the forerunner of what we might call a mug. However, some did have saucers too so in that vein we continue to use the term to delineate from mugs and tea cups and saucers.
This design is dishwasher and microwave safe.
