Narcissus is associated with egotism and formality. In Greek mythology Narcissus was known for his beauty, falling in love with his own reflection in a pool of water. When he died, in his place sprouted a flower bearing his name. Maybe irises balance this out since they denote faith, valour, wisdom and friendship.

Our products are microwave and dishwasher safe – except gilded items which have a metallic finish. Each individual design description will confirm this information. Whilst Blue Artemis bone china is a robust product, we recommend using low temperatures and liquid detergents when washing, or alternatively washing by hand and drying with a soft cloth. Blue Artemis china is unsuitable for oven and freezer use.
Each piece is decorated by hand using designs from an eclectic mix of unique transfers.
